Catering a villa event in Bali is a logistics job disguised as a cooking job, and I learned the logistics the hard way — running banquet service for a Seminyak restaurant that did three wedding parties a weekend in high season. The food matters, but so does having enough ice, a plan B for rain, staff who know which guest is the mother of the bride, and a kitchen schedule that means hot food lands hot at 19:30 even though your villa has two burners. We bring all of that, plus the food people actually remember.
Formats That Work in a Villa
Buffet
The villa classic: 3 mains, 4 sides, salads and dessert, kept replenished for two hours. Works from 15 to 60 guests without drama.
Live Stations
Satay grill, pasta tossed to order, a poke bar — chefs cooking in front of guests. The format that gets photographed most.
Plated Dinner
Restaurant service at a long table, up to 30 guests, 3–4 courses. For weddings and milestone birthdays that want ceremony.
Canapés & Cocktail
Two hours of passed bites — 8 to 10 pieces per guest — for standing parties, sunset drinks and pre-dinner mingling.
What We Take Care Of
Everything from the market run to the last washed glass. A typical event includes menu design, all groceries, kitchen prep (in your villa or our prep kitchen if yours is small), service staff — included for parties of 20 or more — buffet equipment, chafing dishes, platters and full clean-up. For weddings we coordinate timings with your organiser and photographer; for retreats we plan multi-day menus that never repeat; see also weekly meal prep for the quieter days between events.
Dietary coverage is built into every menu, not bolted on — vegan and gluten-free dishes are placed throughout the buffet and labelled, and halal events are fully sourced as such (how we handle diets). Parties under 15 guests are usually happier with a private dinner or a BBQ party — we will tell you honestly which fits.
How It Works
Book on WhatsApp
Send your date, villa area and group size. We confirm availability the same day — 24–48 hours ahead is ideal.
Approve your menu
We send 2–3 menu proposals built around your tastes, allergies and diet. You pick, we lock the fixed price.
We shop fresh
Your chef buys everything the same morning at local markets — groceries are included or itemised by receipt, your choice.
Dinner is served
The chef cooks in your villa kitchen, plates and serves every course, then leaves the kitchen spotless.
