Labelled weekly meal prep containers prepared by a private chef in a Bali villa

Half my meal prep clients are remote workers in Canggu who got tired of deciding what to eat three times a day; the other half are training — surf, gym, retreats — and need their macros done properly. Either way the routine is the same: I come to your villa once or twice a week, cook five days of food from ingredients I bought that morning, portion everything into labelled containers with reheating notes, and your fridge becomes the best warung in Bali. After years in Seminyak restaurant kitchens, batch-cooking to a standard is the part of the job I could do in my sleep — but never do.

Sample Weekly Menu

Breakfasts

Overnight oats with mango and coconut, frittata with market greens, banana-oat pancakes, chia pudding, smoothie packs ready to blend.

Lunches

Grilled chicken poke bowls, beef rendang with red rice, Vietnamese-style noodle salad, roasted pumpkin and quinoa bowls, gado-gado with house peanut sauce.

Dinners

Barramundi with sambal matah and greens, turkey meatballs in smoked tomato sugo, tofu and cashew stir-fry, slow-cooked pork with apple slaw, dahl with charred broccoli.

Extras

Energy balls, house granola, sambal and dressings in jars, fresh juices — added to any plan on request.

How the Week Is Structured

The standard plan is 5 days of 3 dishes per day — 15 meals per person, cooked in one or two sessions so nothing sits longer than three days. Menus rotate weekly so week three never tastes like week one, and every container is labelled with contents, date and a one-line reheating note. We adapt to whatever your week looks like: lunches-only for a co-working crowd, dinner-heavy for families, double-protein for training blocks.

Macros and diets are where this service earns its keep — keto, vegan, gluten-free and halal weeks are all standard, and we can weigh portions to your targets; see healthy & dietary menus for how we build them. Ingredients come from the same markets and organic suppliers we use for dinners — our Bali food markets guide shows exactly where. Hosting friends one night mid-week? Add a private dinner and we will cook it during the same visit.

How It Works

  1. Book on WhatsApp

Send your date, villa area and group size. We confirm availability the same day — 24–48 hours ahead is ideal.

  2. Approve your menu

We send 2–3 menu proposals built around your tastes, allergies and diet. You pick, we lock the fixed price.

  3. We shop fresh

Your chef buys everything the same morning at local markets — groceries are included or itemised by receipt, your choice.

  4. Dinner is served

The chef cooks in your villa kitchen, plates and serves every course, then leaves the kitchen spotless.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does weekly meal prep cost in Bali?
From IDR 1,200,000 per person per week for 5 days of 3 dishes a day, groceries included. Macro-weighed performance plans are IDR 1,500,000. Details on the pricing page.
How long does the food keep?
We cook in one or two sessions per week so nothing sits in your fridge longer than three days. Dishes are chosen to reheat well — no sad soggy stir-fries on day three.
Can you hit specific macros or calories?
Yes. Give us your daily protein, carb and calorie targets and we weigh portions to them — popular with guests doing surf camps, gym blocks and retreats.
Do we need to provide containers?
No — we bring food-safe containers, labelled with contents, date and reheating notes. If you prefer your own glass containers, we will happily use those.
Can meal prep start the day we arrive in Bali?
Yes. Book 48 hours ahead, approve the menu from the plane, and your first week of meals can be in the fridge by the time you check in.
