Tropical breakfast spread with smoothie bowls and fruit prepared by a private chef at a Bali villa

Breakfast is the quietest service we do and secretly my favourite. I let myself in before the villa wakes, squeeze the oranges, get the coffee going and have the table set by the time the first person wanders out to the pool. After years of restaurant brunch shifts — 300 eggs benedict on a Sunday in Seminyak — cooking breakfast for six people who are still in their pyjamas feels like a holiday for me too. The fruit was at the market two hours earlier. The eggs are however you like them. Nobody has to decide anything before coffee.

The Morning Table

Bowls & Fruit

Smoothie bowls with dragonfruit and mango, house granola, coconut yoghurt, and a fruit platter that follows the season, not a template.

Eggs Any Style

Benedict with smoked salmon, fluffy omelettes, turmeric scrambled tofu, or simply perfect fried eggs on sourdough.

Indonesian Morning

Bubur ayam (chicken rice porridge), nasi goreng with a runny egg, banana fritters with palm sugar — the breakfast locals actually eat.

Drinks

Proper espresso or pour-over, fresh juices, young coconuts, jamu (the turmeric-ginger tonic) made in-house.

How Breakfast Service Works

You pick a serving time from 07:00 and tell us roughly what the table likes; the menu flexes daily so day four never repeats day one. The chef arrives about 45 minutes early, cooks, serves, and resets the kitchen before leaving — most villas barely register we were there. Single mornings work great for special occasions (the morning after our romantic dinner is our most-booked breakfast), but the weekly package is where the value is: five mornings, different menu each day.

Families love this service — kids' pancakes happen alongside the adults' benedicts, and allergies are handled properly (dietary menus). Long-stay guests often pair morning service with weekly meal prep, so lunch and dinner are in the fridge when the chef leaves after breakfast. Groups hosting a brunch party of 10+ should look at villa catering for a buffet-style spread.

How It Works

  1. Book on WhatsApp

Send your date, villa area and group size. We confirm availability the same day — 24–48 hours ahead is ideal.

  2. Approve your menu

We send 2–3 menu proposals built around your tastes, allergies and diet. You pick, we lock the fixed price.

  3. We shop fresh

Your chef buys everything the same morning at local markets — groceries are included or itemised by receipt, your choice.

  4. Dinner is served

The chef cooks in your villa kitchen, plates and serves every course, then leaves the kitchen spotless.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a breakfast chef cost in Bali?
IDR 250,000 per person for a single morning, groceries and coffee included, minimum 2 guests. The 5-morning weekly package is IDR 1,000,000 per person. Full details on pricing.
How early can you serve?
From 07:00 — say the word and the coffee is ready when you surface. Surfers chasing the dawn session can book a 06:30 start by arrangement.
Can you do a floating breakfast?
Yes — the Instagram classic, properly styled on a floating tray for two at IDR 650,000, and we keep the hot food on the table where it belongs so nothing goes cold in the pool.
Do you handle kids' breakfasts and allergies?
Happily — pancakes for the kids next to benedicts for the adults, gluten-free and dairy-free without fuss. See how we treat diets on the dietary menus page.
